OUR ADVICE FOR CUSTOMERS SENDING THEIR ORDERS TO TURKEY:

  • Place an order with a value (goods+shipping) less than 150 Eur
  • When selecting the delivery courier, we would advise choosing DHL or UPS.
  • Choose FedEx courier only if your order (shipping included) is less than 150 Euro or if you have your own customs broker.
  • Expect to pay about 30% import fees.

AS OF TODAY, WE HAVE THE FOLLOWING INFO ON IMPORT FEES TO TURKEY:

Shipments valued under 150 euros and weighing under 30 kgs are VAT exempt and do not require a POA and customs brokerage fees.
An 18% to 30% import tax will be applied. We do not know the exact % as it may depend on the product type or fabric. Expect to pay 30% but hope for 18% 😊.

Shipments valued over 150 euros will require shipments to be handled by the courier's partner broker or any broker of the recipient's choice.
Brokerage fees, storage fees, and other customs clearance-related costs such as (VAT and Duties) will be applied and paid by the receiver of the goods.
For orders over 150 EUR, authorization is required to be given to the customs broker on behalf of the receiver. You must sign the agreement allowing the customs broker to prepare import documents on your behalf and declare them at your country's customs office.

Expect to pay 60% to 180% fees on top of your order value.

Based on our Turkish customer's feedback, orders over 150 EUR were required to pay up to 200% fees, while 100-140% of these fees were paid to the customs broker! Which, in our humble opinion, is insane.
Therefore, we strongly recommend learning your country's customs regulations before ordering anything with us. Please note that all import-related fees are the customer's responsibility.

Please note that on the arrival of your order, the Turkish customs broker or delivery courier will ask you to provide the payment copy and a copy of the invoice you received from us. Sometimes, you may be asked to present your ID.
If you delay providing the requested documents or paying the import fees – the parcel storage fee will be applied.

All the information above is only regarding the retail orders at the Fantasmagoria shop sent to private individuals for non-commercial use. These orders suppose to be for personal use and not for sale.

πŸ’‘ Friendly advice: If you want to fully dress up at Fantasmagoria and place a big order of over 1000 EUR, the customs fees will be so high that it is worth flying over to Vilnius; try before you buy and don't pay any customs fees on return with a check-in bag full of your personal clothing. Turkish airlines have direct flights here weekly. If this sounds like an idea- send us a message in the chat. πŸ’¬
