Giropay uses more than 1,500 German banks, which makes it a trusted payment method for German customers.
HOW DOES GIROPAY WORK?
The Giropay payment process is as follows:
- Select "giropay" on checkout
- Check "I agree to the Terms of Service" and click the "Confirm your order" button.
- The paydirekt.de checkout page will open, and it will look like this:
- Selects your bank from the list of participating banks.
- Click on the "Proceed to checkout" button
- You will be forwarded to online banking to pay.
- Log in with your bank's credentials and confirm the payment.
- In the online banking environment, review the prefilled payment details.
- If all the information is correct, authorize the payment.
- After the authorization, you will receive a confirmation, and the order will be processed for shipping.
